The Renaissance old centre of Ferrara is an extraordinary testimonial of the splendour of the Italian noble dynasties. The Estensi Castle - surrounded by water in the middle of the historical centre; the Diamanti Palace - adorned with over twelve thousand diamond-shaped marble ashlars; the Cathedral - interesting example of Romanesque-Gothic art and the Lodovico il Moro Palace are only some examples of the architectural beauty of Ferrara.

The Po River Delta Park is only a few kilometres away: an area of absolute natural beauty where the "big river" creates suggestive landscapes immortalised in many books and films. In these valleys it's possible to practise several outdoor activities: from birdwatching to excursions by boat, by horse and by bike and enjoy the flavours of the culinary tradition in the relaxing atmosphere of the farm houses.
